New Financial Advisers on the Way!

The new Financial Advisers Act comes into operation on 1st Oct 2002. It has clearly outlined the licensing requirement for each practice and the roles one can play.

MAA Financial Planners is well positioned to meet this requirement and its new service standard. Already a veteran and operating as a Financial Planning firm since May 1997, our transition was a smooth one.

With the new act, MAA operates as an Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) firm. As an IFA, we are not tied-up with any financial institution like a bank, insurer, security-house, fund manager or other financial institutions. But we are allowed to market products from the various financial institutions. Our arrangement gives our client a variety of product ranges for their consideration. This unique role has been keenly accepted by our client as our advice is impartial.

    The Person we are looking for should:-
     -Be a Singaporean or PR with a minimum age of 21. Foreigners will also be considered
    -Enjoy meeting people. Be sporting & energetic with self-discipline and commitment. Resourceful and self-motivated with effective interpersonal & Communication skills.
    -Preferably with a Diploma certificate or tertiary educated.
    -You'll have a distinct advantage if you have or is pursuing related financial certification.
